Most design work is compiled, if not created on computers. The designer’s choice is the Apple Macintosh – these machines easily cope with the complex software and the inevitably huge files that most artwork creates. It’s with these files that your visual communication will finally be ‘manufactured’.
The production process of any artwork is technically complex and can easily lead to much confusion. Be it producing specific file formats for screen work, or preparing layouts to be interpreted correctly in a print-house, there is always a need for technical knowledge and experience.
