“The team who have worked with you have been inspired by your creativity and unfailing good humour. You are without doubt an extraordinary individual, not only for your creative and technical skills, but also because of your ‘can do’ approach and the way in which you motivate others.”
Adrian Schuler, Director of Best Practice, WPA.

I’m a freelance graphic designer and visual communication consultant. I love what I do, and always do it to the best of my ability. As such, I have a reputation for producing high quality, imaginative and inspiring designs.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design (Packaging) from the University of Plymouth and an HND in Graphic Design. Prior to these certificates I studied for a number of BTEC art diplomas at the notoriously demanding Eastbourne College of Arts. With more than 8 years education in the arts world, and a few more than I’d care to mention in the industry, I’m very hands on – most in my element when covered in paint or brandishing a scalpel. I believe there is far more to design (and indeed life) than simply sitting in front of a computer all day, although of course, I often do.
With a passion for ‘the visual’ I take a keen interest in photography, 3D model making, illustration, animation, traditional painting and mark making. Whilst far from expert in these secondary fields, a healthy knowledge of them has proved extremely beneficial.
Working mainly from my Somerset studio I work directly for my clients and also for national design agencies. The majority of my experience is print based, so in order to help my clients with any marketing or new-media requirements I keep close alliances with other suitably qualified designers. Zebra-Ideas is thus able to offer a wonderful range of outcomes to thoughtful briefs through a personal, friendly and honest dialogue.
